Choice - Every child desired

Choice - Every Child Desired creates female contraception for the 21st century.

1 in 5 children is born unwanted, a bad start in life for them and usually the burden of the mother. If we can prevent these children being born it's better for the children, the mothers, the families, society & the planet. What we need is a carefree, hormone & chemical free contraceptive method, with no ongoing cost or trouble. Only then can we reach the 200 million women who still have no access to contraception.

To achieve this, Choice develops medical implants, capable of opening or closing the fallopian tubes. They will be placed once in a women's life, and can be switched wirellessly from outside the body. We do this with a wide ranging team of experts, from professors of gynecology to high-tech companies. We have developed the prototype, and are starting animal test snow, which will be followed by first-in-woman tests.

We have created a pipeline of products, adding more functionality in each generation. The product will be rolled out first in Europe, but economies of scale will make the implants ever cheaper, enabling us to reach all women around the globe.
