T4i is a spin-off of Padua University born in March 2014. We provide the aerospace market with smart propulsion solutions and services. We’re a quickly growing team of 15 members operating in the Newspace economy. Our offices are based in Padua, Italy.

The company has been founded by the Space Propulsion Group of Padua University, who started to work on electric and chemical propulsion systems from 2006 under the European Commission and ESA programs. After several years of studies, simulations and testing, the technologies reached great performances and a maturity level that pushed the group to create T4i to turn these technologies in real products and put them in the market.

Today the key products are electric and chemical propulsion systems for in-space and launcher applications. In the specific, T4i provides two solutions: an innovative cost-effective, robust, complete and flexible 1.5U electric propulsion module, REGULUS, suitable for micro and nano satellite platforms, and three chemical propulsion systems (mono-propellant, hybrid and bi-propellant motors) based on highly stabilized hydrogen peroxide. These cover different in-space applications for low-cost satellite platforms (HTP Monopropellant Engines 10-300 N, small Liquid Rocket Motors 100-300 N, small Hybrid Rocket Motors 100-1000 N) as well as small upper stages, micro launchers, sounding rockets and gas generators applications.
