Today, most dives are done with a buoyancy compensator, a tank, a mask and a regulator. The means of communication during the dives are limited to a panel of about twenty signs with the hands which mainly make it possible to alert in the event of an accident. 52 Hertz was created with the aim of developing an integrated underwater communication device, the Talkie-Divy. It is a connected regulator mouthpiece, incorporating its technologies and directly adaptable to existing scuba diving regulators. This device has a wide variety of applications (training, safety, supervision, pedagogy, leisure, industry, etc.).
We wish through this device to democratize a natural vocal conversation during the practice of scuba diving. The computing power of processors and their miniaturization have evolved enormously over the last twenty years, thus making this project possible. The service offer aims to facilitate access to the marine world in a friendly and secure setting.
